A LITTLE CHANGE CAN MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE
SO, WHAT IS CHANGE FOR LIFE?
Change for Life is our opportunity to come together as mothers, fathers, children, and churches to raise funds that will be used to help those facing unplanned pregnancies in our community by providing FREE and confidential pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, education, and more.
HOW DOES CHANGE FOR LIFE WORK?
- Pick up a bottle at your church on Sunday, May 10th. Take it home, fill it with loose change (we accept bills and checks, too!), and return it to your church by June 21st. Call us at 815-232-5433 to arrange pick-up and drop-off of a bottle if your church doesn’t have any available for you.
- Participate virtually without a baby bottle. You can make an online donation here.
- Pray for abortion to be erased from our community. We continue to meet women facing difficult pregnancy decisions, and time and again, we see them choose life when they are covered in prayer. Your prayers truly make a difference—prayer saves lives.
WHAT’S THE IMPACT?
Your participation in Change for Life makes it possible for women like *Kara to find the confidence they need to choose life in the midst of overwhelming circumstances.
Kara was already a mother of four when she learned the father of her children planned to leave. Facing the financial and emotional weight of raising another child alone, she reached out to us in search of her options.
Over the next several weeks, Kara visited our clinic multiple times. At each appointment, she received an ultrasound and met with one of our nurses, who helped her process her fears, talk through her decision, and lean on the support she did have, especially her family, who encouraged her toward life. We assured Kara she could return as often as she needed.
Then, a month after her first visit, Kara contacted us with joyful news: she had chosen LIFE.
Each year, donations from Change for Life provide women in our community with the support, compassion, and education they need to make life-affirming decisions. This year, our goal is to raise $70,000 – enough to cover the services involved in saving 58 lives.
